Operator requirements
Certification required: Operators must undergo professional training and safety technical training, pass the assessment of the national or business competent department, and obtain the “Special Operation Personnel Operation Certificate” issued by the local competent department before they can engage in command and operation. Unlicensed operation is strictly prohibited.
Familiar with the equipment: The operator should fully understand the structure and performance of the electric hoist and abide by the safety operating procedures.
Inspection before use
Mechanical component inspection: Check the safety and technical conditions of vulnerable parts such as hooks, wire ropes, and reducers to ensure that they are in good working condition; check whether the hook has cracks or deformation, whether the hook nut anti-loosening device is damaged, and whether the wire rope has broken wires, broken strands, wear, etc. If any problems are found, they should be replaced in time.
Electrical system inspection: Check whether the electrical part has leakage, whether the grounding device is good, whether the controller operation is sensitive and reliable, and whether the hand-operated switch, hoist cable, etc. are well insulated and the cables are not exposed.
Safety device inspection: Check whether the safety devices such as brakes and limiters are sensitive and reliable. When the hook is raised to the upper limit position, the distance from the hook shell to the drum shell must be greater than 50mm (10t, 16t, 20t must be greater than 120mm); when the hook is lowered to the lower limit position, the safety circle of the wire rope on the drum should be guaranteed, and the effective safety circle must be more than 2 circles.

Precautions during use
Comply with the operating procedures: It is strictly forbidden to pull or lift obliquely, and it is strictly forbidden for non-job personnel to operate; when lifting, the hands are not allowed to hold between the rope and the object, and when the lifting object rises, it is strictly forbidden to collide; when lifting heavy objects, it must be lifted vertically, and it is not allowed to pull heavy objects obliquely. Do not lift if the weight of the lifting object is unclear.
Pay attention to the surrounding environment: It is forbidden for idle people to enter the dangerous area of lifting, and special personnel should be assigned to guard; when lifting, ensure that there are no obstacles around to avoid collision.
Standardize hoisting operations: The placement or bundling of objects must be standardized and comply with the requirements of hoisting regulations to ensure the safety of hoisting; hoisting operations shall not be performed when the objects are not tied or hung firmly or unbalanced and may slide, and when there is no padding between the edges and wire ropes of the objects.
Avoid overloading: Strictly abide by the rated load range of the electric hoist, and do not overload it to avoid affecting the safety and service life of the equipment.
Prohibit improper operation: During shutdown or rest, objects, hanging baskets, slings and cables shall not be suspended in the air; when the hoisting machinery is working, the hoisting machinery shall not be inspected and repaired, and the brakes of the lifting mechanism shall not be adjusted under load; when lowering the objects, free fall (slipping) is strictly prohibited, and the limit position limiter shall not be used to stop the car.
Maintenance after use
Cleaning and maintenance: After use, the surface of the electric hoist should be wiped clean to remove dirt and debris to prevent rust and corrosion.
Regular lubrication: Electric hoists must be kept with sufficient lubricating oil during use, and the lubricating oil must be kept clean and should not contain impurities and dirt; a hard brush or a small piece of wood should be used when oiling the wire rope. It is strictly forbidden to oil the working wire rope directly by hand.
Storage and preservation: After work, the electric hoist should be parked at the designated position, the hook should be raised, and the power should be cut off; when parking the electric hoist, choose a stable ground and take fixed measures to prevent the equipment from sliding or tipping over.
Other precautions
Environmental requirements: The working environment temperature of the electric hoist is generally – 25℃~+ 40℃; it is not suitable for places full of corrosive gases or relative humidity greater than 85%. It cannot replace explosion-proof hoists, and it is not suitable for lifting molten metal or toxic, flammable and explosive items.
Emergency treatment: During lifting, if the heavy object slides down due to a fault, emergency measures must be taken to lower the heavy object to an unmanned place
